Hotel Ekta is a small 3 star design hotel which is just a few meters away from the busy Champs Elysees in Paris. I love its '70s decoration with mostly black and white furniture which gives it this sophisticated atmosphere. The project was made by Jean-Philippe Nuel and Natasha Stojkovic, well known for luxury hotels design and they used lamps from my favourite brand Marset, from Barcelona.
The reason I recommend this place is not because it is the best to spend some days in Paris, but because it is one of those nice hotels that offer day-use fares. For 78 Eur you can spend a few hours of the day there sleeping, taking a shower, or having an intimate moment away from the places of routine.
It is an excellent place to rest if you are waiting for a late flight or train, or if you are in between meetings in Paris or simply if you want to put some spicy sauce in your boring couple life (you can also visit other articles that I wrote about similar subjects for spots Doll House or Le Petit Secret).
Their rooms are small but nicely decorated, they have an extremely comfortable mattress and quality bedding. Their staff is very helpful and discreet and the feeling of spending some of the day in this quiet cocoon is really nice. To get the day-use rate, it is important to book by phone as there is limited availability. Day use is between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.
