I often take one hour in the middle of the day to go running and charge my batteries. When I do that, I often go to the riverside banks on the left side. These used to be an industrial and storage area for materials, but they have now been transformed into pedestrian areas where citizens and tourists can enjoy the real Parisian atmosphere. Some trees have been added in special places, but what is nice is to see the nice architecture of the city from that perspective while looking at the barges that carry materials or tourists pass along.
Between pont de l'Alma and pont Royal, the place includes nice places to sit and see the boats and for passers-by to walk along, as well as a spots for some drinks or snacks, children attractions, like via ferrata, or sports equipment to exercise your muscles.
It is definitely a great activity to do, especially if the day is bright. One can also do it nicely by bike with one of the bicycle rental systems available in town. The top of the top is to find one of the boats that offer accommodation on the right bank, there are several of them available in well-known home rental sites.
