Located in the very pretty rue des martyrs in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, Café Marlette is the perfect place to have a brunch on a terrace on the weekend. Several menus between 20€ and 26€ exist, depending on your hunger. The 23€ menu is composed of a hot drink, a fresh juice, an avocado toast, bread with jam, a boiled egg and a homemade dessert to choose from, among cookies, a banana bread, a carrot cake, a chocolate fondant, madeleines...
If you are complicated like me, you can also create your own brunch by ordering à la carte. The last time I went there, I had a salmon avocado toast, an excellent chocolate granola with banana and an iced chai latte, my favourite drink, for about twenty euros.
But Marlette is not just a restaurant. This pretty café has made a name for itself with its easy-to-make cake preparation packets that you can buy on-site if you want to make the homemade cake you ate here at home.
The terrace is pleasant because it is sunny until the middle of the afternoon. In addition, after your brunch you can go for a walk in the very cute district of Montmartre, which is a few minutes away on foot.
