I recently moved to the XXth arrondissement of Paris, and a new barber shop opened literally under my building. The owner is a young man full of enthusiasm and so friendly that you feel like staying longer for a chat. He has a lot of experience, and his little shop provides hair and beard care for men, including waxing, facial treatments and relaxing steam baths for your face.
The place is stylish, friendly and cosy. There is nothing better than taking advantage of a stroll through the local market on Wednesdays or Saturdays to take a moment and get those hairs under control. The closest metro is Gambetta, this is not a super touristy area of the city, but you may be around visiting some of the Spotted by Locals recommendations, like La Bellevilloise, or simply walking around the Pere Lachaise cemetery, which is very close by.
The prices here are definitely more interesting than those in areas more frequented by tourists, so this is definitely my new regular barbershop!
