For the 9th year in a row, this area in the North East of Paris has organized the so-called "Ourcq Living Colours Festival", an event organized around the concept of street art. Each year, a group of artists is invited to do their art in different locations around this area. The artworks will stay on the street for one year and then may be renovated.
This year, artists like AJ Dungo from Los Angeles or Da Cruz from Paris have been invited and left their work for visitors to see. It is really nice to walk around the canal banks and enjoy the colourful art displayed there. This year's festival enjoyed the support of the US Embassy in Paris and the walk around the area is really worth the visit. Take the metro to Ourcq station (line 5) and then walk down Ourcq street towards Marne Canal.
