Tasty Trip Paris
My favorite Venezuelan lunch spot
Tasty Trip is a Latin American restaurant that offers dishes and salads made with fresh products. The portions are generous and cheap: 9-10€ per dish. I particularly recommend Chimichurri (see the picture): a dish made of chicken with red pesto, guacamole, cherry tomatoes, parmesan cheese, chimichurri sauce and quinoa. It's excellent, honestly!
Here, everything is homemade. They work with small producers and use environmentally friendly packaging. Tasty Trip is located in the Belleville district, a popular and multicultural neighborhood that is not well known by tourists. The whole team comes from Latin America, most of them from Venezuela, and the waiters speak a melodious Spanish among themselves, they are very smiling. The decoration is made of wood and plants, which makes the place very welcoming.
With the photos of Venezuela hanging on the walls and the Latin music playing in the background, it's almost like being in Latin America! The place is also ideal for working during the day, because it is quiet and there is free wifi connection.
