Yves Saint Laurent is my favorite haute couture brand because it is considered one of the most elegant and chic brands in the world. Its creator, Mr. Yves Saint Laurent, was a free, avant-garde, provocative and daring man.
One of the most iconic pieces of his style is the tuxedo for women, a garment that was reserved for men before. A year later, in 1967, he created the first trouser suit for women when there were only front skirt suits. The Yves Saint Laurent Museum opened recently in 2017 and is therefore still little known to the general public. It is located in the 16th arrondissement in the private mansion where Yves Saint Laurent worked for nearly 30 years. When I visited this museum, I was given the opportunity to admire numerous beautiful ceremonial dresses and visit the fashion designer's office where he created his haute couture collections.
The museum had been under construction for a long time, so it is very modern, very beautiful and refined. I recommend visiting this museum to anyone who loves fashion.
