This place is a local gem. You haven't really been to South Philly until you experience Cacia's Bakery. They are known for their pizza but also do Roast Pork on Sunday's, Calzones, and just really good bread, plus a few other items.
There is no other pizza I have ever tried that is similar to Cacia's. First off, let's start with the options for Pizza. Broccolli, Pizzaz, Cheesesteak, Spinach, Cheese, Tomato, and White Pizza. You don't even look at a menu, they go so quickly that the slices are always out behind glass on those gigantic square sheets they use (it's square pizza). There is no mixing and matching, those are your options. You don't need other options. The Pizzaz is basically cheese, simular to Provel (if you know that), and some jalapeno peppers. It's not too hot and its amazing. The Cheesesteak is also great but my daughter loves the spinach! Go Green!
My mouth has been watering just writing this article. Just don't wait too long in there, there isn't anywhere to sit and it can get a little crowded. Plus I've been yelled at for taking too long, all in good fun! You need to experience this for yourself :)
