Miragaia is a beautiful spot I like to walk by as on one side is the Douro river, and on the other side I like to appreciate the typical houses with clothes hanging at the windows to dry and neighbors just chatting with each other from their balconies. I love walking around here at it still has that genuine vibe as if the city has barely changed.
Lately I've been hanging out more on this side of the city with my friends and we found this really cool place called Armazém, an old warehouse, where the main concept is to gather on the same spot, a place to relax (either outside or inside), visit the small local shops they promote or have a look at the art exhibition going on inside. From cool souvenirs, to clothing or antiques there is a lot to get lost on.
I usually go there for a glass of wine while having something light to eat in that peaceful terrace, in an always busy area.
