Bazén Axa, the swimming pool located in Hotel Axa, is always convenient and easily accessible. I became a regular when I lived around the corner and I continued going there even after I moved quite far. Ok, it is quite small (25 x 12 m) and I am not saying to go there if you are training for a national swimming competition, but listen to the pluses before searching for a different one.
In Bazén Axa you pay per minute, so even if you decide to leave earlier, you pay just for the time you really spent swimming and drying you hair. In case you get bored after 15 minutes, no need to feel ashamed to leave. Bazén Axa has some of the 'hottest' water in Prague – also my grandmother has confirmed that the water quality has remained the same since the sixties. Other convenient services are the sauna, mixed or solely for women, massages or the solarium.
Hotel Axa was built in 1932 in a functionalist style and was recently gently renovated. After swimming, cool down in the bar and get some snacks. If you are in relaxing mode, you can continue to Mini Golf Central nearby.
