Located a small walk from Ziedoņa park, Ceptuve ČAU is a pizzeria with, dare I say, one of the best pizzas money can buy in Riga. While not having the largest in-door venue, or hosting a from-dusk-to-down working schedule, the times when this small eatery is open to the public is a time you’ll be hard-pressed to miss it. While offering multiple menu items, like wraps and dumplings, the crown jewel of the shop is its pizzas. Four kinds, to be exact: Sausage, Cheese, Potato, and Four Cheese. Simple, yet perfectly bundled with flavor that, even cold, taste perfect.
If you are planning on visiting Ceptuve ČAU, do keep in mind their working hours. Being open only three days a week means the evening will be packed with hungry locals. Nothing beats sitting down in the stylish wooden interior, but if it’s packed, consider placing an order and eating your food at home. It will be just as delicious, I promise.
