What would a warm season be without a relaxing moment on a rooftop terrace?

One of my long traditions every summer is to go at least once to a rooftop terrace for a drink, chat and a relaxing moment. There are several nice places in Riga to enjoy the beautiful view from above, but my choice is always roof terrace on the shopping center Gallery Riga. With a very central location, it has a great terrace on the 8th floor with 3 cafes to choose from – a stylish one named “Herbārijs”, a relaxed one named “D ’Arte Terrace” and the one with the grilled food is “67 Grill&Lounge”. It’s possible just to take the ice cream, go onto the roof and sit down a bit to enjoy the view from above, however.

The view on Riga is available from a 360-degree angle, so it’s only a decision about when and with whom to go. All the rest is there – the atmosphere above the street noise, the beautiful view, drinks, snacks, Instagram photo places and a chance to be distanced from the everyday hurry and stress. Of course, the sunsets are very impressive from this terrace so it is a good idea to end the day here.
