Cafe Unfiltered is a very small cafe in the centre of Rotterdam with a Scandinavian inspired interior. Their coffee is top-tier, roasted by Rotterdam’s own Giraffe Coffee. Drinking a matcha latte with a slice of banana bread or one of their seasonal pastries is my personal favorite.
The café sits on a peaceful street lined with classic Dutch houses, a refreshing contrast to Rotterdam’s skyline. It’s the kind of spot that makes you pause and appreciate the city’s hidden corners.
You can see Café Unfiltered is passionate about design, sustainability, and community. They often collaborate with local creatives and host occasional pop-ups and events. It’s also a nice place to read, relax, or catch up with a friend. Laptops are welcome too, just not during lunch hours (12–3 PM) or on weekends, to keep the vibe social and balanced.
If you're around Rotterdam Centrum, skip the chains and come here for a moment of calm and great matcha and coffee.
