Fremont Coffee Company is by far the biggest coffee shop I have came across in Seattle. It's built inside a house, and they have converted the whole house into a coffee shop, or perhaps a coffee house! Indoors, they have multiple rooms with tables and chairs providing a home-like environment to work or just enjoy a cup of coffee with friends. Outdoors they have multiple-level patios covered by lush green trees and plants that create a greenhouse kind of environment. In summer I always sit outside and spend all day working or just catching up with friends.
They serve coffee from their own roaster and I bet you will have one of the best coffees in Seattle, which is what it's famous for. They don't have a big food selection other than a few pastries, so if you are really hungry don't forget to bring your own food!
It's located right next to lot of bars and restaurants in the busiest street of the colorful, hippy neighborhood of Seattle called Fremont. It's patio overlooks the busy street which makes it perfect for people watching on a bright day.
