Kerry Park (also known as Highland Park and Franklin Place) is my favorite park to have my me-time once in a while with a great view of the city. It's located on the top of Queen Anne hill in the very quiet residential neighborhood. You can capture the iconic skyline of Seattle downtown next to Mt. Rainer. It's a really great spot to have a quiet moment within the crowded and busy Seattle Downtown area.
It's a really small park with few benches. I usually like to sit on the wall facing the skyline.
If you continue walking on highland drive towards the west(water side) you will hit another nice spot with great water view at the end of the street. From there take right turn and you will have a nice walk on the very quite street with amazing view. This is actually the best part of my any visit to Kerry Park.
During the daytime this park is crowded with lots of people taking pictures of the iconic view but at nighttime it's usually quiet. I usually like to grab an ice cream from the local joint called Molly Moon on my way to this park to make experience more delicious. Sometimes I also grab coffee from Top Pot Donut (Seattle's best donuts, located a couple blocks from the park) and come here to enjoy it with the view.
