When it comes to tapas/small plates places in Seattle, Ocho is the first name which comes to my mind. It has got an amazing menu for small plates and a great selection of craft cocktails.
This place is located in the heart of Ballard neighborhood. This neighborhood is full of restaurants and bars but Ocho is definitely a kick-starter place to grab a drink and small plates before going deep into the market street of Ballard. It's a very small venue with a few outdoor seats so it's not ideal for big groups but perfect for 2-4 people. I like to sit outside since it's a great spot for people watching down the very busy street. Their servers are very attentive and provide recommendations, which you can totally trust. I usually start my evening here by grabbing a few small bites and a cocktail before I head to the crowded market street in Ballard on the weekends.
Their food menu is inspired by the Spanish Tapas a lot. Their deviled eggs are to die for and the garlic shrimps are one of the best in town. Their craft cocktail menu is pretty rich and my personal favorites are Sangria and 12 dollar Margaritas. Yes it's a bit pricey for their drinks menu but trust me their drinks are crafted to perfection and their wine menu is full of Spanish wines.
