Seattle is slowly becoming the vegan capital of the United States and places like Plum Bistro tell me exactly why. When you can get such yummy and nutritious food from vegan places, who needs meat anyway?
Plum Bistro is one of the finest vegan restaurants in Seattle. Their creative menu doesn't make you feel like you are actually eating a dish which doesn't have meat or dairy at all. Their vegan and Mac 'n Yease (vegan Mac and Cheese) actually made me forget about real Mac 'n Cheese. Their Macho burrito is way more delicious than any other Mexican joints in this area and yet it has no meat or dairy. I also like their chipotle grill sandwich and their variety of vegan aioli. Their lunch and dinner menu is completely different and I personally like their lunch menu more. However, their dinner menu includes burgers and skillet lasagna, which are very popular among locals.
The restaurant is very small with only 7-8 tables and usually it's a good idea to make reservations for dinner. They also have a food truck stopping at different locations in Seattle, serving limited items. They also have a small cafe inside Seattle Center Armory cafeteria, which is a popular tourist spot.
