Rob Roy is a craft cocktail bar located in the Belltown neighborhood. It has a huge collection of liquors and a rich craft cocktail menu listed by liquor of your choice. This is my favorite cocktail bar in Seattle. They are very famous for their Whisky based cocktails. My personal favorite drinks include Old fashioned, Rob Roy Bold, and Rob Roy elegant. I think their Old Fashioned is the best one I have found. I always like to see their bartender shaving the big ice cube for old fashioned with perfection. I recently figured out this place is really famous for their craft cocktails since many famous food show anchors visit this place often.
The location has a dark and antique theme. It really looks like a high-end night club bar from the inside. Most of their seating arrangements are lounge type seating containing comfortable sofa and lounge chairs. I do like their bar seats specially due to their comfortable leather bar stools with back support. I mainly like it because I can watch the bartender creating the delicious craft cocktails. They do have some table and chair seating but it's pretty limited. They have a small patio for outdoor seating as well, which is really good for people watching in summer time. This place is perfect for group parties due to their seating arrangements.
