Giraffe café is like a small refuge for the inner child! The interior is done mostly in greens and yellows, the walls are full of books: most of them children’s books, spiritual texts, and parenting literature. There’s plenty of natural light coming in from the French windows looking over the street and the atmosphere is really cosy, safe, and intimate.
The coffee is excellent and what I give them credit for is the relatively large menu for such a small unpretentious place: there are meat, vegetarian and vegan options for their pastries and made-on-the-spot chapati, and plenty of toppings too. Home-made brownies and candy balls for dessert round up the already heart-melting experience to be in Giraffe café. What else does one need?
Bear in mind it is a child-friendly place and depending on the time of day it can be a bit noisy, so if you’re not a fan of such an atmosphere, you should probably avoid this place on the weekends.
