Vita Rama Health Centre is one of those places where good taste shines from afar. The facade of their 3-story building is painted by the famous Bulgarian artist NASIMO who made Vita Rama one of the most beautiful spots in the area. Their effort to use solely natural materials is noticeable as soon as you step into the restaurant and frankly, it evokes both respect and curiosity in the traditions and philosophy their business represents.
The Vita Rama kitchen follows Ayurvedic principles of health and health consciousness and uses no added oils in the process of cooking. Most of what they offer is vegan, they have a daily lunch menu with fresh and original recipes and a small selection of tea blends, the herbal one of which is my favourite at the moment!
Above the café-restaurant is located a yoga hall in the same natural and minimalistic style, where daily practice takes place and both new and old students can join. The community they have created in Sofia is full of yogis, travelers, health experts, and spiritual enthusiasts – people that are interesting, driven, and open! That, I think, is the main asset of this place, so if you’re looking for a place to network and return to – look no further than Vita Rama!
