Ah, let me tell you about my absolute favorite spot in town for cocktails and spirits: The GoodSpirit Whisky and Cocktail Bar.
I know I'm in for a great time every time I walk through those doors. If you're still seeking an authentic Hungarian night out after a day full of sightseeing, you can find this cozy bar just around the corner from the cobblestone street Veres Pálné. It is not far away from the city center but far enough to feel authentic.
Once you enter, you'll find a huge selection of spirits and crafts neatly displayed behind the bar. Bartenders are not only skilled mixologists but also excellent hosts, ready to create and customize drinks to your liking.
Their gin-based signature cocktail is my absolute number one and favorite. It's called “Ramos Gin Fizz” and it’s pure magic in a glass. It never, ever disappoints. You should also try their sure fire drinks and signature cocktails…. And no matter how hard you try, you will not find them anywhere else in Hungary.
Another pleasant surprise on their menu is the non-alcoholic spirit American Malt. Its taste challenges the alcoholic drinks, but depending on your taste buds, it could also surpass them. So, if you're ever looking for me on a Friday night, you know where to find me. At the GoodSpirit Whisky and Cocktail Bar sipping on my signature cocktail, surrounded by good vibes and even better company. Cheers to that!
