Spotter since 2025
I’m a writer and photographer, originally from Romania, but Amsterdam has been my home since 2011. Through my blog, Amsterdamian, and various international magazines, I share stories about Amsterdam and the Netherlands - its places, its people, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.
Over the years, my research has led me to uncover fascinating details about the city and hidden gems, and I feel a growing urge to pass these stories on. I’m curious about people and the cities they call home, always drawn to a good conversation or a new corner waiting to be explored.
Amsterdam was love at first sight, from the moment I visited as a tourist. Years later, when I had the chance to call this special city my home, I couldn’t wait to wander its streets and uncover every corner. That sense of discovery never left me. I’m still learning, still exploring, and these days, I find myself digging even deeper than I did in those early years, uncovering history and local anecdotes.
Frankendael Park became my favourite oasis for relaxation. It’s not large, but is quite varied and perfect for a peaceful walk or a refreshing run.
