"Javastraat" in Amsterdam Oost has changed over the years, but it's still one of my favorite streets. It's a nice mix of new and hip and decade-old spots!

"Vegan Junk Food Bar" Amsterdam is perfect if you believe vegan burgers and parmesan fries can never be as good as 'the real thing'. I'm a convert myself.

"Bruno's" in Jordaan in Amsterdam makes really good coffee. I always start my weekend routine with a visit here and am always greeted by Bruno himself!

"Rotisserie" Amsterdam is one of those places where I can order anything and be sure it's going to be good -- I'd know, I've tried everything on the menu.

"The Cottage" in Amsterdam East makes me nostalgic of Britain. It's very cozy and they serve all my favorite comfort food here -- deliciously made, too!
