"Union Brew Lab" Edinburgh is one of the original hipster coffee shops in the city. JK Rowling hasn't written a book here yet!

Craiglockhart Hill is one of Edinburgh's 7 hills. In contrast to Calton Hill, Castle Hill and Arthur's Seat, even many locals can't name this one!

The zoo is one of Edinburgh's most popular tourist attractions. Next to it is "Corstorphine Hill" that's in my opinion much more interesting to explore!

"Lupe Pintos" is so much more than a deli, with all the unusual and hard-to-find international ingredients crammed in it, it's an Aladdin's cave of food...

"David Bann" Edinburgh isn't just for vegetarians, it's for anyone who enjoys good food. It's my favourite restaurant in the city, even as a meat eater.

"Traverse Theatre" in Edinburgh has a reputation that extends far beyond its subterranean location. It's also not expensive, so it's a great choice...

About me
I’m originally from Aberdeen, in the North East of Scotland, but moved to Edinburgh in 2001 for University and never left.
I love to travel and learn about different countries - I'm always looking for somewhere new to explore. When I'm in Edinburgh I work in marketing for a tech start up. I love the theatre, movies, eating out and walking which makes Edinburgh perfect for me!
Why Edinburgh?
The city is small enough that you can explore on foot but it is also big enough that there is also a huge amount going on. The Festivals are crazy, of course, but any time of the year there always seem to be new things happening every week.
