Spotter since 2025
About me
Born and raised in India, I made my way to Geneva in 2021 at 29 to pursue a master's degree. A journalist turned communications professional, I'm fuelled by food, music, books, and the beauty of nature. I believe in savouring life's slower moments—whether that's cooking elaborate meals for friends, wandering through Geneva's enchanting parks and lakeside promenades, or diving into a good book by the water.
I am naturally curious and enjoy learning about the history, as in local trivia, of places I visit. Currently, in the pursuit of perfecting my French and swimming, sharing and community-building make my soul happy.
Why Geneva?
Geneva is my first-ever international destination and is therefore special to me. I remember my first few weeks here, being awed at the green spaces and the crystal-clear blue waters. In the four years that I’ve been a resident, I’ve not been bored once. There is always a new nook to uncover or a new patisserie to try.
Through the summer, winter, and the shoulder seasons, Geneva always has something to offer. Not to mention its international population that contributes massively to its openness and vibrancy. Geneva is home, thanks to its people and nature.
Oh Martine! is one of those spots where anything you order ends up being good. A little birdy also tells me they have the best Cannelés in town!
