... and so does pizza.
This is the Delibruket motto. Let’s face it: nowadays pizzerias have become a part of our cities. There’s at least one pizzeria in each neighborhood or on each street, and here's one my favorites.
Delibruket Flatbread is a pizzeria in Sundbyberg, 3-minute walking distance from where I live, hosted by one of the historical landmarks of Sundbyberg, the Ivar Tengbom tower designed the "water tower" (Vattentornet, in Swedish).
They serve pizzas (ops, flatbread), yes, but besides the evergreen pizza like Napoletana, be ready to find a few surprises on the menu like the Beetroot (goat cheese, beetroot and honey) or Lammkorv (lamb sausage and herbs).
The ingredients (all organic and of excellent quality) are traditional but mixed in an unusual fashion, in line with the basic concept of Delibruket to prefer local products. Also the selection of beers is from local breweries.
Just for a change, during the weekend, try the brunch: different types of pizza, salad and daily soup. A real deal.
Take a seat on the upper floor of the tower or downstairs with the view of the oven (a real one with red bricks!) and the kitchen. In summer it's lovely to sit outside and appreciate a privileged point of view over the city. If it’s busy (and that happens pretty often) there's one last resort: order a take-away and sit on the grass of the park around the tower. Either ways, it’s a win-win!
