One of my favorite lunch locations recently opened in Nõmme district, the American restaurant called "Diner". Those who live in Tallinn know for sure that the best location for eating burgers for the last several years was Vesivärava Grill in Kadriorg. Now its previous owners moved on to new challenges and opened a new burger restaurant decorated as an old American diner (say hello to the 50s!) - with a long red counter and working jukebox in the corner.
Diner is extremely popular among the locals (personally it takes me about 10-20 minutes to get there by car and still I keep visiting it at least once a week) and usually it's really hard to find a free table - but it's definitely worth the effort!
Usually it takes about 15 minutes to cook the meat in charcoal oven - but while you are waiting you can enjoy a cup of coffee - for those ordering burgers it's free of charge. By the way - all burgers are available in two options - with ordinary meat or made with organic Angus beef.
And here is a little tip from me - order the one with the mushrooms, it's really delicious. All in all - 'Diner' is definitely one of the best burger restaurants in Tallinn at the moment.
"Estonian Burger Factory" Tallinn is one of my fav burger restaurants in town. They used to be a super-famous kiosk in town, and they've still got it...

"OKO Resto" is a bit outside Tallinn, but it's easy to reach. It offers marvellous sea views, accompanied by beautiful sunsets. Great price/quality ratio!

"Villa Thai" in Tallinn is a Thai-Indian restaurant that's just a bit away from the centre, near the harbor. I have never been disappointed by a dish here.

"Sõõrikukohvik" is one of the best places for having breakfast in Tallinn around. This cozy little cafe specialises in doughnuts, and it's really cheap!

The "Piiskopi Viewing Platform" in Tallinn is one of the many platforms in the Old Town, but I think it's the most beautiful and less touristy than others.

"Raamatupood Puänt" in Tallinn fills the need that existed of a small literature boutique with a diligently chosen selection with an indie perspective...

"Lasnamäe" is the biggest, most populated & least touristc district in Tallinn. It's a great example of our Soviet heritage. I can't describe it in words.

"Sip Wine and Beer Shop" in Tallinn has the best selection of light alcoholic drinks in Estonia. These guys and their knowledge are my heroes!

"Boheem Kohvik" is one of my favorite spots in Tallinn for lunch. This nice and quiet restaurant makes, in my opinion, the best Caesar's salad in the city.

"Uuskasutuskeskus" Tallinn is a great shop for eco-souvenirs for eco-minded people - they recycle used stuff and sell it at very low prices.
