Just outside the Salme Cultural Centre, you’ll find a small farmers’ market. I always make time for a visit.
My must-buy? Rhubarb syrup with mint — it’s light, refreshing, and perfect on hot summer days. My son loves mixing it with sparkling water for a homemade lemonade.
I also never skip the linden honey — rich, floral, and absolutely delicious. And if you’re up for something unusual, try the lemon cucumbers (yes, they look like lemons but taste like mild cucumbers — they even pickle them here!).
And of course — the garden bouquets. Wild, colorful, a little imperfect — I always take one home to brighten up my kitchen.
