Yes, you heard it right – there’s an amazing playground inside the Estonian History Museum!
The museum area actually includes three different museums, all connected by a park where kids can play for hours. And here’s the best part: if you’re not visiting the museums themselves, you can still enjoy the outdoor playground and territory for free.
But I often come here with my kids to the museum itself, because inside there is a special playroom – and for that you’ll need a ticket. It’s usually very quiet, especially on weekdays, and for children it feels like paradise: a slide from the second floor, a little playhouse, and so much space to explore. Even my one-year-old loves this place!
A perfect mix of history, culture, and play.
…and at the end, you can also stop by the museum café for a snack or a cup of coffee — but more on that in a separate post.
