Noblessner's quarter is a former shipyard and industrial area in Tallinn. Some time ago, it was decided to fully rebuild the area into a living quarter with some public spaces, business areas, restaurants and much more.
The quarter itself is situated in Põhja-Tallinn district right by the sea and around 10-15 min on foot away from the Old Town. The famous Põhjala brewery is also situated there. The area is really great for walking, because it is quiet and situated near the sea, so great views can be seen. There is a Kalamaja park nearby as well.
I find Noblessner really interesting from an architectural and urbanistic point of view: the facades of the houses and public spaces are quite diversified and of high quality. It is one of the best architectural projects done and built in Estonia in the last years in my opinion.
The construction works are still not fully finished -- soon there will be a new scientific museum and some other living and business spaces. The area is already attractive, but still has a lot of potential for development.
