Pirita Beach is situated quite close to the city centre -- it takes around 15 minutes to go there by public transport. This is the largest and most popular beach in Tallinn. I personally like its shape, because it is narrow, but really long. Such a shape allows you to walk along the beach for quite a long time, which is really nice to do on warm days.
It is separated from the road with a really beautiful pine forest where you can find a long road for bicycles and pedestrians. It is one of my favourite roads to have a nice bicycle riding session on. Also, there are some sports grounds located along the beach which offer a great opportunity to do sports with a nice view close to the sea.
Pirita beach has great infrastructure: there are multiple places to eat, from fast food kiosks to fine restaurants. Actually, the main reason I like Pirita beach is that when you walk along it, a beautiful view of downtown Tallinn can be seen from any angle. If you add the stunning local sunsets, it makes Pirita beach one of the best places to walk and chill in my opinion.
