Birdwatching spot
Inna from Tallinn
If you'd like to see Tallinn from a different angle, take a walk along the seaside promenade near the Rocca al Mare School. It offers a wonderful view of the city, fresh sea air, and excellent birdwatching opportunities. A large colony of grey herons here, and you’ll often hear the loud calls of black-headed and common terns. Sometimes, you might spot shelducks or common sandpipers.
This is definitely a place to bring your binoculars. And if you decide to walk further along the promenade, you’ll reach a birdwatching tower and after Stroomi beach— but that’s another one of my spots.
