Are you familiar with speakeasy? Well, I think this is what inspired this bar. If you are not familiar with this - LMGTFY.
Speakeasy is forbidden by law - establishments that served strong alcoholic beverages during the Prohibition era in the United States, that is. The owners of the bars would often tell the loud crowd to "speak easy" because, you know, police might hear the fun. There are other stories why such bars are called like that but I like this one and it goes very well with Whisper Sister.
If you want to book a table, and you really need to (because usually it is always full house as if this was the only bar in town), follow my instructions and do not skip any steps:
1) Go to the address during the day and write down the telephone number that you kind find at the door. 2) Call around 19.30 to book a table. 3) Dress up a bit, you would not regret it later and let's admit, it can be fun 4) Do not be fashionably late.
You will be met by a well-dressed man, escorted to take your coat and led to the table.
You will be absolutely awe-struck by the barmen and the interior design - and you haven't even tried the cocktails yet!
My favourite is Lemon Thyme, but go and find yours!
