There is only one fine dining restaurant personally for me, and that is restaurant Hella ja Huone. Even writing this text, I can feel the peaceful atmosphere of this elegant restaurant.
I always tell people to go to Hella ja Huone if they want to treat their loved ones, family or important business partners in a special way. And I always want to go to this restaurant when I have a special occasion.
The restaurant represents European and Scandinavian-style cooking. An a la carte menu is available, but there are also the tasting menus of 6 or 9 courses, which I truly recommend together with the wine packages. And to my knowledge, Hella ja Huone is the only restaurant in Tampere that has fresh oysters available daily.
The king of the kitchen is Chef de Cuisine Mr. Ilmari Saarikoski, who is amazing with the ingredients. Pure tastes and always beautiful set up on a plate.
The boss of the restaurant is Sommelier Mr. Humberto Pulido Garcès. He with his team takes such a good care of restaurant’s customers. And he also knows his wines, oh yes.
For a special event, this restaurant is the creme de la creme of Tampere.
