Fish is not common for Uzbekistan since it is not surrounded by any sea. Fish is a bit expensive, too – well, depending on the type of fish, of course. Fast food is becoming very popular here and there are so many cafes and street cabins that offer chicken burgers, beef burgers and mutton burgers. None of them have fish burgers in their menu, except for Fish and Bread.
I think fish is healthier than any other meat. So if you are going to eat fast food, then better choose the one with fish. Fish and Bread offers fish rolled in thin pita bread or fish inside a burger bun. However, it is not the only thing they make. Last time I visited Fish and Bread, I was quite surprised. It had become a mixture of fast food and some healthy Turkish food. This actually made me glad, since it is always great if you have a choice between fast food or healthy food.
I forgot to tell you about their very attentive service. When you enter the restaurant, the manager greets you with a smile and asks you some questions like “how many are you?”, “do you want a seat near the window” and some more similar questions. The waiters are also very quick and polite and can assist you with what to choose from the menu.
