Turkish cuisine became very popular in Uzbekistan several years ago. There are a lot of Turkish cafes and restaurants in Tashkent. However, the one I love most is Golden Fork. It is such a nice place if you want to have a good lunch or dinner with your family or with your friends. On the first floor, you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere. If you have kids with you, then you need to go up to the second floor, because there is a big and colorful playground for children. Besides, it is very close to the tables, so you can easily watch what your kids are doing in the playground and enjoy your food.
There is a variety of Turkish meals available like kebabs, "pide's" (similar to pizza), soups, salads, drinks, ice creams, and desserts. The hosts meet you politely, the waiters are very careful and quick. However, what is really appealing to me is that as soon as you come, a waiter brings a cup of black tea with different types of suzma mixed with different vegetables for free. Suzma is a traditional Asian dairy product. It is so pleasant to have something for free.
