If I had to describe Lolita Cafe Tbilisi with one word it would be: a cafe with personality!
The design, menu and location perfectly match the original concept of this place - a perfect match of old and new.
The building was once a home we would call an "Italian Yard" today. Bolsheviks converted aristocrats' houses to communal residences where even the kitchens and bathrooms were shared. During Soviet times, we saw such kinds of houses in Italian movies and decided they were typical Italian (you can easily see this kind of houses in the old part of Tbilisi where people still live, still share the kitchen and balcony, share each others' happiness and sadness, news and secrets...)
Lolita offers indoors and outdoors sitting areas, an amazing kitchen (cooked in front of your eyes), a lovely, helpful staff and great ambiance. It's suitable for friendly gatherings as well as for less formal business meetings and perfect for breakfast and lunch - but you can experience Tbilisi nightlife with the same success.
