If you are a photographer and looking for a destination where you can take good pictures, Metro Gotsiridze is the place. It is an old metro station and is the only fully open-air station in Tbilisi. All the metro stations here are underground, except Gotsiridze and Metro Didube. But Metro Gortsiridze is special, because of its location. I always go for a walk from Akaki Tsereteli street and walk all the way on the bridge above the old railway station, where I enjoy the amazing view over old trains and dwellings.
This place is amazing for photographers who are interested in places from the soviet period and just for the explorers. Sometimes I also go under the bridge and walk through the trains, where I can also take beautiful pictures.
There is a lot of street art too, as well as small old, wooden houses and ruins. it is a place where you can clearly picture the sad Soviet period in Tbilisi.
