Bicicletta was one of the first places my Israeli boyfriend introduced me to in Tel Aviv many years ago. And I fell in love with their fairytale garden that you won’t even suspect exists from the street. It’s an ongoing love story - we have celebrated birthdays there, when my parents visited we took them out there... I have had many great evenings at Bicicleta.
The atmosphere is really relaxed and easy-going - you sit on wooden chairs that remind me of the chairs we had in school. In the garden you will find some art made from bike parts - hence the “Bicicletta” - Italian for bike.
I am a fan of their eggplant chips, but also of their cocktails - Jasmine is a really good one! They frequently change their menu, so it never gets boring, and their food is always super tasty. Don’t miss the happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 17:00 - 19:00 in the yard, til 20:00 on the bar inside - 30% of the whole menu!
Their newest addition is a garden store called GRDN where you can find all kinds of plants from small succulents to big green plants.
