Levinski has always been a nice street, with its spice stores, delis, and cafes, but only after the city decided to close it for cars (note - only the street itself, the crossing streets are still active), that's when it really turned into one of the nicest places to hang out in Florentin.
Cafe Kaymak is located on Levinsky, between charming old buildings and next to the "spice market".
The menu is not big, but there is always something that I want to order (even though it's vegetarian and I'm not). The same goes for the drinks. The prices are super-fair and the crowd is young and happy and everything goes in nice manageable chaos.
For me, it's an ideal place to start the night with some drinks (Crazy Jasmin is their best cocktail, they also have IPA from the draught) and food.
Don't miss out on the kama sutra illustrations on the toilet door. Why are some of the dudes there blue?
