"With great weather comes great responsibility to maintain a workout program", said Voltaire's brother once. Loyal to his vision, the city council of Tel Aviv placed many workout facilities among the gardens and the beaches of the city. I've got a gym membership, but some days are just too beautiful to stay between four walls. At those times, my favorite place for working out is the public fitness place at Gordon Beach.
The place is accessorized with all the necessary equipment for a solid workout. 50 meters north to the spot there are 60 stairs (I actually counted once) that can be used for some extra exercise.
The spot is pretty popular among private trainers as well as regular people who just want to do some pull ups on their way to work. Around the spot there is a special place for wooden racket players, and beach volleyball courts which improve the vibes and create a fun atmosphere for your practice.
