Le Mala is a Mexican fusion restaurant in the southeast of the city. It is located in the most unlikely place, inside an old industrial complex, and may be a bit tricky to find. The area is a creative hub full of artist workshops and galleries.
To find the restaurant, we had to go up one floor and entered a colourful, roomy space, with Mexican decorations and a super cool atmosphere.
The menu offers excellent nachos, creative tacos, salads and various Mexican-style mains and desserts. I recommend the vegan tacos and the nachos for a light meal. The nachos are also great for sharing. There's a rich drinks menu as well, especially for those who are into Tequila cocktails.
Check the restaurant’s Facebook page for DJ nights, also known ask “Discotaco” - these are super fun and very popular. You definitely need to make a reservation on those nights and stay late for the party.
