Atlas is a cool neighbourhood bar, the kind of place that locals go to in order to meet their friends and feel at home with a familiar crowd. At the same time, this is also the kind of place I would take a guest who has never been to Tel Aviv on a night out, so they can experience some warm local hospitality.
The bar has the most friendly vibes and friendly staff, cool decor, a great food and drink menu and a spacious garden with outdoor seating, which is perfect for Tel Aviv’s climate.
It was named after the Atlas Mountains in the Maghreb and has an international theme. The menu offers a selection of dishes from different world cuisines and there’s usually world music playing in the background.
I usually go there whenever there's a show on. It’s one of the places in Tel Aviv that hold great weekly gigs by local musicians representing the city's excellent world music scene.
