I think every city needs a place like ‘MingleMush’. The Hague is lucky enough to be the home of this gem though. Let’s talk about the name first, because don’t you agree that Minglemush sounds like an actual word we could use in the English language? In my eyes the word perfectly describes what it is, which is a multicultural melting pot. In this case, they serve food as well, which obviously is a game changer.
As Minglemush is a food hall, there are many different smaller restaurants. In my opinion, it’s so much more than that… While the restaurants have their own stands where you can order and pick up your food, there is a general seating area and also a terrace outside for when it’s nice out. There are arcade games upstairs, mainly for children, but of course also for those adults among us that still love to act like kids every now and then.
Because there is more than just one restaurant with one menu, there is a cuisine for everyone’s preference. You can opt or tapas platters to share (or not), burgers with curly fries, a Mexican treat or a poké bowl, which is a personal fave. But whichever dish you choose, I can already tell you it’s going to be great.
