If you’re in Tirana, you absolutely must take a walk through Kalaja e Tiranës - the historic castle walls housing numerous artisanal shops and restaurants; It’s a really lovely way to spend time in the city.
After a day of discovering the city, while you’re in the castle walls, my recommendation would be to stop at Oppings for a cocktail or mocktail. The vibe is very cool, and although you will likely be sitting right on the edge of the walkway, sitting at Oppings doesn’t feel like you’re on the show, but rather like you’re right in the middle of this beautiful city. It is perfect for people watching as the bar is positioned right as you enter the promenade.
Come rain or shine, Oppings is a great place to stop, as the ‘outside’ portion of the bar is actually covered, so on a hot day, you won’t burn in the sun, and on a rainy one, you won’t get wet. Perfect!
I have always had very good service from the waiters here, who will give you a recommendation if you're stuck on what to order (although my personal order will always be an Aperol Spritz!)
As with many places in Tirana, the cocktails here are very reasonable.

What I mostly love about this place and why I always strongly recommend it to everyone I meet is the professionalism of the staff and the fact that it’s spot-on clean and sanitized every time I visit.

"Tirana Rock Cafe" is a great place for headbanging! The best Albanian bands perform there. It's also free to enter and I love that the beer's so cheap!
