Now I’m gonna be honest here, I cannot make it to work without enjoying an espresso for at least 10 minutes. Being close to my office, I casually discovered this place called The House (used to be called The coffee house, the name change saddened me a bit to be honest).
The House has both indoor and outdoor spaces, so the smokers shouldn’t be afraid of the cold as it is quite warm on the outdoor space too. The House is almost empty every morning, allowing me to enjoy my coffee in peace with nice music playing in the background, coming from Top Gold Radio, one of the best radio stations in Albania. One of my favorite details is the floor made of wood which, gives me a very cozy sensation.
During the later hours, it gets full every day. Sometimes it is hard to even find a place to sit. The House has two floors; usually the second one is less crowded.
The House offers many options to choose from. Starting from very good coffee (note that I am very picky about my coffee) to delicious snacks accompanied by free fruits coming usually with every snack order and moving on to wine, offering a large selection of red wine for those cold winter days, and last but not least, cocktails.
The snacks vary from sandwiches to French fries to desserts and even soups!
I really recommend this place as it has easily become one of my favorites!
