Bar Noel is hugely nostalgic for me and my family as I know it was my parents' favourite 'watering hole' back in their heyday, and I can really see why.

Millenium Garden is an exclusively outdoor bar, you really feel like you are sitting in a tropical garden, as the place is surrounded by trees and bushes.

At Byrektore the byrek is always fresh and often still warm when you get your hands on it! My personal top flavour is the cheese and spinach.

Dajti provides an incredible view over the city. For me, no mountain day is complete without having some amazing traditional plates at 'Balkoni i Dajtit'.

For those visiting Tirana for the first time, Era Vila is a perfect spot to try all the traditional dishes you may never have heard of or tried.

I always feel relaxed and refreshed after visiting the Dajti and spending some time up at the viewpoint, and I am sure you will too!

A personal favourite of mine is the fried red mullet (barbunje in Albanian) which, when fresh and in season, is truly amazing.

Bana’s is definitely my recommendation to visit in the Pyramid of Tirana – with a huge array of handmade sandwiches, pastas and salads available, you won't be disappointed with your choice.
