If you are a big fan of tea like me, may I suggest you tea heaven: The Tea Room Tirana! My first time there made me feel like I was in one of those vintage tea ads -- the flowery wallpaper, the fancy tea cups and teapots and oh, the tea mixtures!
The menu is filled with teas with lovely unique names such as Kopshti i gjyshes (Grandma’s garden, to revive your childhood memories), Power Flower, Flower of Asia (personal favorite), Paradiso Passion etc.
The tea comes in a big teapot accompanied by free cake (hey, free cake!) and the waiter also brings an hourglass. When the time is done the tea is ready to be served and warm up your cold winter days.
If tea is not your favorite, you can still enjoy the cozy atmosphere with a delicious piadina, some sweet cheesecake or by having a nice glass of wine, red or white, you choose!
The Tea Room Tirana also has an outside space, so if you’re a smoker no problem there! It is located near “Ish Ekspozita Shqiperia Sot”, easily distinguishable by the painting of a teapot and the bar’s name on the building wall.
