I frequent this shop more than I’d like to admit because each time I go, I inevitably forget to stock up on one of the many refillables I buy here! I’ve gotten to know the founder of this shop thanks to my frequent visits… After discovering the shocking amount of harmful ingredients in most of our food and beauty products, she began researching natural ingredients and their benefits and using them to make her own personal care products. Realizing she could make these products affordably along with the fact that friends and family were loving them, she decided to open Green & Frugal. 

With an awesome selection of self-care products, also great for gifting, and sustainable swap items available, all at great prices, I would definitely recommend checking out their adorable east end shop! Most of my shower and hair care routine comes courtesy of their sustainable and/or refillable products, from soap bars to an apple cider vinegar rinse, frizz spray, and dry shampoo for my hair. Their body scrubs  and butters, as well as their bath salts, are a few more of my favourites, especially for gifting!

The stretch of Kingston Road this shop is located on also has a few other cute shops nearby, and on your way back into the downtown core, I would definitely recommend a stop at the nearby beaches, especially if you’re visiting in the summer!
