What makes this spot low-waste, you might be wondering? It starts at the front of the shop with their coffee and tea offerings available to buy in reusable cups, either the kind you bring yourself or ones you can borrow and return later (through the Muuse program). They also offer house-made or locally baked goods on reusable plates, which you can enjoy in the shop alongside the display of a featured local artist. 

Or choose to browse their selection of sustainable swaps as you sip your brew… From biodegradable bamboo products to personal care items that are better for both you and the planet, you can find plenty here to make progress toward living sustainably. That even includes a refill wall where you can bring or borrow jars and containers to restock on products like household cleaners or hair care products. 

As if this sustainable shop didn’t have enough going for it, it’s also located in one of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods, the Danforth, along which you will find many lovely local shops and restaurants to support!
